At Hearing Hearts Ministries, we are deeply grateful for every gift that helps us serve and empower the deaf community in the Dominican Republic. We believe in transparency, accountability, and good stewardship of every donation we receive.

1. Donation Processing
All online donations are processed securely through PayPal.
When you donate, you’ll receive a confirmation email from PayPal as well as an acknowledgment from Hearing Hearts Ministries. If you provide your mailing or email address, we will also issue a charitable donation receipt for tax purposes in accordance with the requirements of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Please note that all donation amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified.

2. Use of Funds
Donations are used to support our ongoing programs and initiatives in the Dominican Republic, including:
- Education and training for the deaf community
- Support for teachers and community leaders
- Construction and operation of the new Community Center
- Transportation, supplies, and grassroots outreach

All funds are managed responsibly to ensure they are directed toward the greatest community needs and in alignment with our mission.

3. Refund Policy
Because donations are voluntary and immediately put to work in our charitable programs, refunds are generally not possible once a contribution has been processed.However, we understand that mistakes can happen. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us within 30 days of the transaction at: hello@hearing-hearts.org

Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If approved, the refund will be issued through the original payment method (via PayPal).

4. Donation Inquiries
If you have any questions about your donation, receipt, or how your contribution is used, please reach out.

5. Tax Receipts
Hearing Hearts Ministries is a registered Canadian charity. Official donation receipts are issued for all eligible donations over $20, unless otherwise requested. Receipts are typically sent by email or mail within 30 days of the donation.

6. Transparency & Accountability
We are committed to openness in how we manage our resources. Annual financial statements and reports are available upon request. Our goal is to ensure every dollar donated creates lasting impact and opportunity for the deaf community we serve.
